Annual obligations of your LLC
A U.S. LLC comes with annual obligations. This sheet sets them out clearly, with their deadlines and the state involved. Knowing them in advance keeps your company in good standing — and it is our commitment to transparency.
A non-resident LLC has four annual obligations: the state Annual Report (state-dependent — none for New Mexico), the Registered Agent (renewed each year), the IRS information filing (mandatory even with no income, penalties up to $25,000) and any obligations in your country of residence. Our annual packages cover the Annual Report and the Registered Agent.
During onboarding, you tick an acknowledgement: "I confirm I have read and understood this sheet, and that these obligations are mine."
Do these obligations feel demanding?
Our Maintenance and Accounting Packs let you delegate the renewal, the Annual Report and the IRS filing. Start directly or ask us your questions.
